Using the Ameelio Connect App

Visitors use the Ameelio Connect App to schedule video calls and in-person visits.  Ameelio Connect is only available on iPhones, iPads, and Android Phones. It is not currently available on computers or laptops.

You can contact the facility you want to visit if you cannot download the Ameelio Connect app and request help to schedule your visit.

Download the Ameelio Connect App to your phone:

• Create and Verify your Account  
  After creating an account you will verify your identity. For this step, you will need a government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license or a passport). You will then take three photos:
  • The front of your photo ID
  • The back of your photo ID
  • A selfie of you holding your ID with the photo ID facing the camera.
     
• Request Contact
  After you submit your photos, click Request Contact. You can add your incarcerated contact on this page. You must also select the individual’s facility. Then you can find your contact by searching by their name or inmate ID number.

• Facility Approval
  After you add your contact, the Department of Corrections (DOC) will review and approve you as a visitor. Once approved, the DOC will notify you so you can start scheduling video calls or in-person visits.

• Schedule Visit
  Select the approved contact you’d like to visit. Then select Schedule Event and select the type of visit (video call or in-person). Next select an available date from the calendar. The DOC approves all visits. Ameelio does not approve or reject any visit request. Once approved, you are ready to visit with your loved one.
   
• IMPORTANT: All visitors 18 years of age or older must bring a government-issued ID with them to the visit.
